People think they always have this smoking gun of evidence or story that will bring Trump down. He has skated on things that would have brought down any other President in our nation's history. This one though, this one s bigger, more sinister, and more repulsive than all the rest. This one deals with the abuse of children and young girls. I think the email and information dumps only get worse from here. I think he is in too much trouble and the water level may rise over his head and finally sink him. I hear you, and I'm at the point where I don't bother with any 'news' that claims Drumpf or any politician is done. I'm less sure that the abuse of girls will bring anybody down-I've been burned a few too many times by comments joking that 'at least they're going for the right gender, ha ha ha' and a general dismissal of girls being sexually abused. In fact I've heard girls as young as 6 as 'asking for it.' The only time some people care is if a girl gets pregnant as a result of the abuse, and then of course she must be compelled to carry that pregnancy to term. Once she delivers, she's ignored again at best or demonized at worst. I only hope I'm proven wrong this time. 1 Quote

As we learned in Watergate, it's not the crime, it's the cover-up Another thing to note here is that, grains of salt taken with any email from Epstein notwithstanding, criminals don't lie when they talk about being criminals. They lie when they say they're not criminals. Quote

The question is, does this weaken Trump enough where some republicans start to distance themselves from him? Trump got 99 people who'll dive on a live grenade for him and a bitch ain't one. Quote

mtutiger Posted 4 minutes ago Posted 4 minutes ago Again, GWB was considered radioactive at the end of his term, yet his actual approval rating was still around 33%... It's not a strength to have just your base when you lose practically everyone else. Quote
