My problem with this is these voters seem to have short memories.  We are 9 years into this and have been thru several dozen moments that should have been turning points for the average “swing” voter.  
 

A point I saw made recently;  

“Our country isn’t like this because we have Donald Trump as our president.  We have Donald Trump as our president because our country is like this”.  
 

This isn’t directed at you but I am tired of “this is the moment it’s over”.  It will never be over until he’s dead.  There are no such moments.

Agree. I think for a while there we were headed in a direction that would make us better. Unfortunately, judging from comments I've had from people who assumed I felt as they did, I also, deep down, knew that the transformation was far from complete. The only difference now is that people have brought the ugliness to the surface.

And just like removing a cyst-we need to make sure to remove the sac or it will keep coming back.
