He didn't say the misinformation has the same impact as the right. It does exist and I can't believe you have not seen it.  I see it all the time and it's frustrating.  I frequently have to block accounts on social media.

Yep.  Several of my leftie friends are always sharing stuff that's wrong.  A lot of it comes from Occupy Democrats.  And some of it gets shared here.

I'll throw out an example.  On Good Friday a big fuss was made, and i fell for it too, about the Pentagon "Banning Catholics" from a service.  That's not what happened.  The Pentagon held a Good Friday service and specified there would not be a catholic mass. People took that to mean a snub.  It actually wasn't.  Catholics don't celebrate a mass on Good Friday.  They will go to church and do stations of the cross and all of that but it's specifically not a mass, by design.  I viewed that as kind of an expectation setter that this is not going to be  mass if you were expecting one.  Catholics could still go to the service.

It's out there. Most are no longer on my feed after blocking many of them...I'll link some of the lies when I come across them for you to see. I'm not sure how influential they are to other people, I usually don't believe many of the things they say without looking it up and seeing collaboration. And yes, the outrageous rightwing lies are much worse (space lasers...controlling the weather)  but I stand by my statement that Twitter has many false tweets from the left that are just looking to build outrage.

Since apparently people think this is funny, here’s Bernie Sanders agreeing with alleged Democrats that Democrats are a threat to democracy over an election he lost by 3.7 million votes. The right than takes this misinformation and launders it to their followers.

Yeah I feel like if congress passed a law before saying it took 2/3 of both houses they could just pass a new bill that says it doesnt need 2/3 of both houses anymore and the new bill would only need the typical majority in the house and 60 for senate fillibuster
