Most of the founders practiced a form of Deism over the forced Anglican religion as required by England.

More context. Here's the full list. I guess my Presbyterian, Church of the Brethren. Methodist background makes me a heathen

Assembly of God was shortened to "Ass. of God" on my buddy's dogtags.

I was usually Protestant No Pref

Looks like the Mormons made the list.  Good for them.

It is interesting that agnostic is allowed but atheist is not.  In the past, I have often seen Christians regard the two as equally "bad".  I have always thought that every person with any curiosity at all must have experienced some agnostic thoughts in their lifetimes.

Bottom line is, there simply is no way to know for sure, so any religion you pick would be a roll of the dice.

Utah and Idaho are worth 10 electoral votes between them.

interesting phenomena i've heard more than a little bit.

Mormons are among the nicest people in the workplace.  However, you go into a Mormon run store as a stranger and you will be treated rudely.

Generalizations of course.  Their inability to drink at weddings apparently makes them dynamic dancers because they go to twice to three times the number of weddings non mormons do.  (There is a joke in there somewhere about polygamy).
