THJ, Harris, and Beasley all had great defensive possessions down the stretch.

Ausar was a monster in this game, made me eat my words and the vets came through again. Cade woke up in the second half. Knicks needed like 3 Hail Mary threes, just like in Game 4, just to stay close late in the 4th. This was the Pistons game. Knicks now are bruised and battered, this could go 7.

Brunson cannot get by Ausar with a healthy ankle; if he's slowed down from the ankle .....

Brunson and Hart both got banged up at the end.  Hopefully, they’ll still be feeling the effects on Thursday.   

Hindsight, I’m not sure what Thibs could do there.   He only had 1 timeout.  That itself came back to bite them on the last play.    Don’t think anyone would imagine that a game with that many fouls called would go 2 and a half minutes without a whistle.
