Sports_Freak Posted April 30 Posted April 30 If you told me the Pistons would win 2 road games in this series, I would assume they won the series. An inexperienced Detroit team is giving NY all they can handle. 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Brunson shot 4-16 from the field. Harris and company did a nice job on KAT too. He was 5-14 from the field. Hardaway and Beasley combined to go 3-14 from three. Pistons were 8-29 as a team. 2 Quote
Deleterious Posted Wednesday at 04:50 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:50 AM Cade played 9m49s in the 4th quarter tonight. He scored 13 points on 3-6 shooting 1-1 from three. 6-6 from the FT line. 4 rebounds 2 assists 1 TO. 1 Quote

He and Ausar making me look like a dumbass for calling them out for their 4th quarter deficiencies. Quote
Shinzaki Posted Wednesday at 11:13 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:13 AM Harris really stepped up ... you expect him to score a bit, but he played 43 minutes and got you 8 boards and 4 blocks. Huge pain in the ass defensively on KAT. Great game for him Quote

He's matched up against an All NBA player and played him at least even last night once again. And he's doing it on both ends. Quote
RatkoVarda Posted Wednesday at 02:51 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:51 PM getting Rodman-esque vibes from Ausar's defense. the guy has only played 1.5 years and is pretty good right now. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted Wednesday at 04:33 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:33 PM I don't wanna call the Knicks lucky but some of those deep 3 pointers they make or extremely low percentage shots they throw up there, with the shot clock running out, that go in? And the refs swallowing their whistle at just the right time for them? Yeah, the Pistons could easily have already won this series. Or been up 3-2. But big picture, this season has been a blast. We've already exceeded expectations. Quote

Shinzaki Posted Wednesday at 08:35 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:35 PM Would be great if Stew pulled a 1970 Willis Reed and have his knee shot up with cortisone so he could hobble out and lead us to a win. Ok..maybe not great..more like incredibly risky for his long term future, but it would be pretty dramatic Quote
Deleterious Posted Thursday at 02:53 PM Posted Thursday at 02:53 PM The Pistons starting lineup now has a net rating of +33.4. The Knicks starting lineup has a net rating of -8.2. Quote

Deleterious Posted Thursday at 03:54 PM Posted Thursday at 03:54 PM Come on Stew. We won't even make you play offense. Just slap KAT around a bit and call it a night. 1 Quote

Glad it went up from 20, but if it were me I would've mirrored him to Brunson at about 36 minutes. What JB can't do is continue to have Beasley and THJ on the court at the same time, especially with Schroder. That lineup just gets killed. Another thing JB should do is consider subbing Duren out early since Tobias is guarding KAT anyway. That way Duren won't need his rest right at the same time Mitch Robinson comes in. You've got to have Duren out there the entire time Robinson is on the court because nobody else is big enough to keep him off the glass. 3 Quote
Tigeraholic1 Posted Thursday at 05:46 PM Posted Thursday at 05:46 PM Pretty hype for this game tonight. Could force a game 7 and end that horrible home playoff losing streak. 2 Quote
Deleterious Posted Thursday at 09:56 PM Posted Thursday at 09:56 PM I burned too much spouse capital to watch tonight's game just for them to lose. Quote
