You don't trade a player who's not playing well. That's like buying a stock high and selling low.

Clark could easily take over LF. Or RF. And if Parker falters... CF and push Parker over to RF.

BTW: Carpenter would probably be a better play in LF than in RF... but that only happens if Greene is moved somewhere (like to a different team in a trade...).

Sometimes you trade a player to clear a roster spot for a better player.

The return isn't quite as important then...
