After an article on MLB about Javy’s resurgence was an article where 17 unnamed “baseball execs” were asked a variety of questions and not a single one thought the Tigers were the best team in the AL with 13 votes going to the Yankees and four to the Red Sox. The suits are unimpressed with what the Tigers are doing.

The question asked was which team is best in the AL East. I can‘t fault anyone for not choosing the Tigers. The entire article was focused on just the AL East and the NL West.

What‘s wrong with our bullpen? They have the third lowest ERA and WHIP in all of MLB.

Nothing that a 25 yr old Aroldis Chapman wouldn't solve.

I guess I should’ve read it closer. Thanks. I’m demanding a refund from the Evelyn Wood speed reading clinic. 😉

They gave up multiple runs last night. But it doesn't matter if we win.

That's called "having a bad game."

So long as this is not an often recurring issue...

A couple of bad games against Texas too. I'm not totally sold on the 2025 Brieske. And I still don't understand how some pitcher can throw a change up 85% to 95% of the time. When I think change up, I think JV throwing 95 MPH fastballs followed up by an 82 MPH change up. The change of speeds fools the hitters. Throwing every pitch at 82 to 85 MPH is...batting practice

The "sweater vests" or "quarter zips" are the new boss cadre.   Possibly to be replaced in future years by some hybrid clothing item that includes the warmth of a sweater and a zipper that goes halfway down

I quit wearing quarter zips for this reason.  It used to be a convenient thing I got for working a couple of conventions.  Then the VPs started wearing them in webcasts and such.

And yet, it usually isn't for Kahnle. It's the movement on his change that makes it work.
