Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted May 24 Posted May 24 MATTY BOY! almost a bases-clearing double! but a 2-run single instead. I'll take it. Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted May 24 Posted May 24 Mize is dealing, offense is scoring. I think this game might be worth making popcorn for. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted May 24 Posted May 24 Not a terrible pitch but yet another time at Tigers pitcher gets ahead of the count but just can't put the guy away with 2 strikes. Been happening alot all series. Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted May 24 Posted May 24 popcorn is made, Mize is giving up a homer, and McKinstry is erring. perfect. Quote
Tenacious D Posted May 24 Posted May 24 Benetti is significantly better on a National broadcast. Much less silliness. 1 Quote
RandyMarsh Posted May 24 Posted May 24 Again a Tigers pitcher gets up 0-2 only to give up a walk. Now 2 on with Ramirez at the plate. Quote

gehringer_2 Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Riley needs to flatten out that swing a little bit. He has overcompensated in his desire to hit the ball in the air but now he's not getting his bat on enough balls he is swinging at. You pretty much never want to be the at the extreme end the distribution of how anything is done in baseball - it's not a good thing that Riley has the steepest swing in the league. Quote

His swing has always seemed very long to me. When he’s seeing the ball well he’s fine, but otherwise there seems to be a big hole in the swing when he’s not. He’s pretty streaky in that way. Quote
holygoat Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Cleveland's pitchers are just cruising now. What happened to our offense? Quote
gehringer_2 Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Jose Ramirez has a higher OPS against the Tigers than any other team he has played 100 games against. Maybe we need to pitch him differently Quote
