holygoat Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Another series win in the books! Great start for Flaherty. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Guardians looking like they're gonna lose to the Dodgers, down 6 in the bottom of the 9th. Last 3 days we picked up the 3 games we lost on them Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Quote

I think he has pushed Vest a bit too much, probably because Beau and Holton haven’t been stellar. Good to see Lee handle things. 2 Quote
RandyMarsh Posted May 28 Posted May 28 I'd definitely feel alot better about this team if we had a couple more reliable relievers with atleast 1 of them being of the true shutdown variety. Hopefully we'll find one at the deadline or get lucky and strike gold in that regard with somebody in the system. Quote

IdahoBert Posted May 28 Posted May 28 After a slow start against the NL, the Tigers have gone 7-1 since then Quote
Sports_Freak Posted May 28 Posted May 28 (edited) Hinch is talking up Chase Lee, says he has really good stuff. The kid may stick up here for a bit.... I bet Brebbia goes to Toledo. Edited May 28 by Sports_Freak Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted May 28 Posted May 28 First to 36. Nobody can match that win total tonight Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Guardians lost Royals are losing pretty good day for the Tigers Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 28 Posted May 28 I watched the last out of the Rays Twins game and I thought it was a home run to tie the game, but it was an out and Minn won. So I switched over to the Reds versus the Royals and the Reds are now leading the Royals 5-2 top of 8th in KC. Quote

IdahoBert Posted May 28 Posted May 28 The Reds apparently have a stupid home run celebration, where they throw wads of play money around in the dugout. Quote

That's the way most bullpens are. One of the most important things a manager can do to help his team win games is to manage the bullpen successfully. Hinch has been very good at it. 1 Quote

holygoat Posted May 28 Posted May 28 I like that the Tigers don't have a scripted HR celebration. How gritty can you really be if you script your celebrations? 1 Quote
