In a spiritual context, squirrels often symbolize preparation for the future, a balance between work and play, and finding joy in the mundane. They can represent the importance of saving and planning, but also the ability to be flexible and adaptable when life throws unexpected curveballs. Additionally, squirrels can be seen as messengers, intuitives, and possessors of a quiet wisdom. This fits the 2025 Tiger bullpen well. 1 Quote

My neighbor feeds our local squirrels and they come right up to my door when I open it. I was the Tyler Holton of my 'hood the first few times. But I got used to them. And the dang things dig up my lawn, burying their nuts....But at least my cat enjoys their visits; Quote

They have chewed holes in our garage for nesting shedding debris all over the garage interior, they steal every single pear from the pear tree starting when the young pear is just a knob on the tree, they've chewed through our garbage containers, not just once but a few times even though there were ample holes in it already apparently unaware or just too damn mean to care that there was a gaping hole a few feet away. they have dragged chicken bones from the garbage and distributed them randomly in the lawn so the dog could choke on them, they have left scraps of other people's garbage on our windowsill many times, and they have raided the nests of rabbits in the yard doing away with all the bunnies. I happily watched a hawk carry one off. I hate squirrels and no, hate is not too strong a word. Quote

Expensive lesson learned. Quote

Definitly can't let Chipmonks or Red Squirrels get happy nesting under your hood or too near your house. Never had any trouble with fox squirrels getting into things. Quote

Expensive lesson learned. Funny story during COVID GM could not ship trucks built here locally due to chip shortages. So they got the great idea to park thousands of trucks in rented fields. They now use a soybean based wire coating in new vehicles, this was a dinner bell to field mice causing all kinds of wiring damage to tons of these trucks. Basically don’t buy a 2020-2023 Sierra or Silverado because you will drive yourself crazy with wiring gremlins. 1 Quote
