Sports_Freak Posted May 31 Posted May 31 We hit home runs...Kansas City takes walks. I'll take homers. Quote

As an outfielder myself, it drives me crazy when a major leaguer leaves his feet on a catch he could have easily made standing up. Style over points, I guess. Quote
chasfh Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Royals are looking as beaten this inning as Riley looked on that double-errr-triple. Quote
chasfh Posted May 31 Posted May 31 I’m sorry, is Jason Benetti high? Or at least a little buzzed? Quote

That might’ve been what they were playing off of, but I’ll admit the uniforms just aren’t anywhere near as good as our Daglow Tron uniforms with 16th century cod pieces. Quote

monkeytargets39 Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Is it just me, or does Kahnle look like a real life Lego man? Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 31 Posted May 31 The rolling hills around Kansas City are really really beautiful, green rolling hills, wooded areas featuring old homes with white picket fences like something out of a Thomas Hart Benton painting, which is probably where he got the idea. I really liked Kansas City and I have two really good friends who live there. neither of them cared that much about sports so I don’t feel bad about beating their team because they don’t care. Quote

Our City Connects might be the worst in all of MLB. Quote
chasfh Posted May 31 Posted May 31 TIL Tommy Kahnle has a 95-mile-an-hour heater in his back pocket. Quote
holygoat Posted May 31 Posted May 31 It's wild that Kahnle has 95 in his bag, and almost never throws it. Quote

If it's flat, you only want to throw it when they aren't ready, which is what he does, so I'd guess his fastball is not hard enough to hit if he uses it more. Quote
chasfh Posted May 31 Posted May 31 This has become a little more interesting than I would like it to be. Quote
