The White Sox just sent up a position player to pitch the ninth and it didn’t look like our guys tried very hard.

When you’ve got a huge lead and a position player like yourself comes up to pitch, is it considered bad form to tee off on the poor bastard? Because you yourself could be the poor bastard some other time?

Hmmm, No.

Though I am often surprised by the stat line of the position player.

I refuse to believe that oppo taco is a part of regular baseball nomenclature. I think it’s one national broadcasters pet thing.

I've never heard it. I tune out commercials most of the time. I hit mute when an inning ends.

I do too, but then forget to restart it.   I find the break away annoying.  Too often it's mid-sentence

I hate the cutting off of Dan in mid-sentence.

I turn off the commercials on FDS. On MLB, I usually just watch a dramatic inning that I read about. Walkoffs and other big feats.

Looks like the A's won't be doing us any favors against the Twinkiaks.

They're basically doing to the A's what the Tigers just did to the ChiSox.
