IdahoBert Posted August 13 Posted August 13 I had a feeling no good was going to come out of this inning. Quote
MeanJim Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Flaherty's ERA after the 4th inning has to be near 20. Quote
ben9753 Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Torres inches from making the catch. Perez inches from making the catch. Dingler an inch from picking off the baserunner. It’s a game of inches Quote
lordstanley Posted August 13 Posted August 13 This could get out of hand. 4 straight Sox hitters have reached base. Bases loaded, none out, game tied. Quote
chasfh Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Another blop loads the bases. It’s not as though Flaherty is getting his brains beat out, which is why he’s not coming out of the game yet. Quote
chasfh Posted August 13 Posted August 13 That terrible strike call really made that strikeout for Flaherty. Quote
Adullin Posted August 13 Posted August 13 (edited) That was big. Now a double play would be helpful Edited August 13 by Adullin Quote
GalagaGuy Posted August 13 Posted August 13 You got the guy tied up in knots and you decide to put one right over the plate. Quote
chasfh Posted August 13 Posted August 13 And yet another blop. Man, is everything ever falling into place for the White Sox. Quote

The prevailing conjecture was, someone’s check bounced. Dirks said they screwed up bringing it out. Like they were rushing and missed a step. Quote
TP_Fan Posted August 13 Posted August 13 He should have been out after 25 pitches. Hinch continues to allow pitchers go too long. What an ugly inning by jack. Quote
TP_Fan Posted August 13 Posted August 13 You just can afford to lose a game to the white Sox, Cleveland just continues to chip away. Tigers faced a guy with ERA north of 6 and could only muster 1 run and 2 hits. Quote

Edman85 Posted August 13 Posted August 13 I am not a fan of these bullpen days. If you weren't doing everything possible to save Hurter, he could have been brought in at the first sign of trouble. For all the effort taken to save starters with these extra rest days via bullpen days, what good did it do Jobe and Olsen? This is different from last year when the bullpen days were out of necessity and the bullpen was a strength. 2 Quote
lordstanley Posted August 13 Posted August 13 White Sox have batted around. Full count, bases loaded. One more hit and this game is over. Quote
