For all the effort taken to save starters with these extra rest days via bullpen days, what good did it do Jobe and Olsen?

This is different from last year when the bullpen days were out of necessity and the bullpen was a strength.

And it worked because a lot of the pitchers used last year had minimal ML scouting reports.  It was an ambush on our part.  Now everyone knows what Hanifee/Hurter/Montero/etc are.
