Motown Bombers Posted Tuesday at 09:51 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:51 PM I read a scout said that when Kyler Murray runs with the football he looks like a toddler holding his mother’s phone, and I can never unsee that. 2 Quote

buddha Posted Wednesday at 05:26 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:26 PM brad needs to rediscover the joys of trading down and forget about trading up for obscure prospects now one else was drafting that early. then maybe we too could trade extra picks for top players again. Quote

It wouldn't bother me at all to trade down... Even our 1st rounder. Especially if he could garner an additional 2nd or even just a 3rd... (more likely a 3rd... but not putting anything past what Brad Holmes can pull out of his... errr, hat...) Quote

KnoxP Posted Friday at 12:26 PM Posted Friday at 12:26 PM (edited) Bears making lots of moves, some say positioning for Crosby. If true the North is really becoming loaded! 😐 Edited Friday at 12:29 PM by KnoxP Quote
buddha Posted Friday at 12:32 PM Posted Friday at 12:32 PM great trade by the bears and terrible move by the bills. moore was just as likely to get cut and the bills gave up a premium asset for him. between this and releasing the underperforming edmunds, the bears now open up enough room for lindebaum. Hongbit Posted Friday at 01:11 PM Posted Friday at 01:11 PM Never thought I’d see the day where Ryan Poles was the one making shrewd moves. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I don't understand what the Colts are doing here trading Pittman. They trade for Sauce Gardner less than 4 months ago, thinking that he can elevate their team. They thought that somehow they could ride with Daniel Jones to playoff success, when he has no proven track record of success. They also thought a guy like Gardner would elevate them to being true contenders in the playoffs. Then, they turn around in less than 4 months and trade their best receiver and potentially lose their other top receiver, Alec Pierce, in free agency. Either rebuild or go all in to win. They are doing neither and will be stuck in the 8-8 middle for the foreseeable future. Quote
Hongbit Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago They chose Alec Pierce and signed him to a stupidly high contract and can’t afford to pay both. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Pierce already agreed to a massive extension with the Colts. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago He was never going to come here and we were never going to pay him. The idea of having a 21015 Denver Broncos style defense with two elite, bookend pass rushers was always a pipe dream. Oh well. Quote

Mr.TaterSalad Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Just now, Hongbit said: This is a satire site. This is not a deal. Well, they got me then. I fell for the fake graphic and new report. In any case, I don't think we're going to be in the market for a high-priced contract like this, Hendrickson or otherwise. Quote

Motown Bombers Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Even if it were true, Tater still doesn’t understand the Lions literally cannot afford $47.5 million annual salary. With Hutchinson that would be over $90 million in pass rushers. The bookend pass rushers for the 2015 Broncos were Von Miller, who was still under his rookie contract, and Demarcus Ware who signed for 3 years $30 million. They had 11 and 7.5 sacks, less than Hutchinson and Muhammad. They didn’t spend over 30% of their cap in pass rushers. Quote
