Sports_Freak Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Arnold with a groin injury is scary. With no pass rush, we need cover guys. Quote
TP_Fan Posted September 7 Posted September 7 They are vastly superior. Dan botched the coordinator hires. And then they didn’t even get them going in preseason. This is coaching malpractice out there. Quote
GalagaGuy Posted September 7 Posted September 7 (edited) This is awful. I knew the Lions might not win this game, but they are just awful in all aspects today. Only bright spot has been Bates and Fox. Edited September 7 by GalagaGuy Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted September 7 Author Posted September 7 The thing about going 12-5 and being a competitive team in the playoffs is that you have to lose five games along the way. I kid, but it’s also the way I view this game. They’re too talented to not win plenty of games. They’ll be okay. Quote
TP_Fan Posted September 7 Posted September 7 lol, they are so much better. Lions weren’t even ready for the sneak. They assumed they weren’t going for it. Quote
TP_Fan Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Hit him in the backfield gets 6 yards. They want it more. Quote

number20 Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Packers look like the Lions, Lions look like the Packers Quote

In 2023 when they went 12-5 and made it to the NFC Championship Game, they got crushed by the Ravens. Quote
TP_Fan Posted September 7 Posted September 7 I don’t think they beat the bears next week. They will be 0-2 headed into Baltimore. Next week is basically the season. Quote
Nate7474 Posted September 7 Posted September 7 I will say that normally I think TP has idiotic takes and there are still some of those happening. However at least offensively I’ve seen a pretty poorly called and executed game. So I will agree with him today that these coaches today did not have this team prepared and ready. Quote

Two new coordinators and players who haven’t had 60 minutes of game action in 9 months, this is what you get. Quote
TP_Fan Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Morton can stay his ass in GB. Not one pass further than 2 yards. Quote

The only sequence I thought was really poorly called was the one backed into their own goal line. You have too many playmakers to call back to back runs up the middle. Quote

The score is much more flattering than the play. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted September 7 Author Posted September 7 Mark my words. If I’m wrong I’ll eat it. They’re going to be okay. They’re going to win a lot of games. This is just one road divisional game against a good team. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted September 7 Posted September 7 If the interior of our offensive line is this bad we're in a lot of trouble. Quote
papalawrence Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Really miss the anchor in Ragnow. O line got overrun. Total domination by the pack. Their road schedule is insane. 12-5 might be a reach. But it's week 1. Almost always sloppy in week 1. Quote
TP_Fan Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Lions are legit bad. Brad Holmes completely overestimated the roster. Lines are awful. Goff can’t move, still. They don’t have talent. Quote

The story, if any, is 0/3 in the red zone for the Lions, 3/4 for the Packers. Quote
