tiger2022 Posted September 10 Posted September 10 I didn't realize Rodon had 16 wins. Also, he's left-handed, so does that mean Carpenter won't be in the lineup? Quote
IdahoBert Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Will miss this game going to a hot springs this evening. This is gonna be a tough game. Good luck everyone. Quote
roarintiger1 Posted September 10 Posted September 10 (edited) If Jack keeps his cool and only gives up a couple of solo homeruns, I like our chances. Hey, it worked last night for Casey............................. Edited September 10 by roarintiger1 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted September 10 Posted September 10 The Yankees collapsed a week’s worth of misplays and mishaps into one game last night. If a little of that could continue tonight that would be good, and then we could earn the rest of it. Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted September 10 Posted September 10 I still can't believe that Tim HIll is only 35. Quote

When my flight to NYC got cancelled the last year of Yankee Stadium and I had to switch the tickets from my name to my friend from South Carolina's name at Will Call, the Yankees ticket guy called me to confirm and I told the story of my flight cancellation (Spirit Airlines had planes repossessed that week) and he felt bad about it. He switched the name for the tickets to my friend's and a week later I got a box filled with programs, t-shirts, magnets, and other Yankee Stadium trinkets along with an invitation that if I was going to be in NYC before the end of the year - to call him on his mobile phone and he'd get me in (except for the last two weeks of the season). Couldn't believe how incredibly nice the Yankees ticket people were. But I still hate the Yankees. (I couldn't book another flight same-day because it would have been $1200 round trip and I couldn't do it, but you couldn't actually PAY me to fly on Spirit now - then and their stupid urine-yellow planes). Yeah, true. I'll take the Meadows defense. Plus, he's kinda hot, maybe he'll surprise up and run into one. Or two. 😆 Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Can Flaherty make our magic number be his jersey number tonight or is he going to be batting practice again? Quote
Tigermojo Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Couple Tork bombs for an even 30 would be nice. Quote
Tigermojo Posted September 10 Posted September 10 The catalyst leads off next inning. Perfect time for Bert's six runs. Quote
Adullin Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Flaherty is due for good game. I say 4-0 Tigers Quote
IdahoBert Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Not much happening yet…. Just got back from the hot springs I went to in the central Idaho mountains. New owners. The previous people were Humbolt Co. marijuana millionaires transplanted to Idaho, and they only accepted cash. The two new owners are a couple very nice women who also only accept cash. It got windy and lightning threatened, and they almost had to make us leave, but it blew over. GO TIGERS! Quote
Dan Gilmore Posted September 11 Posted September 11 DP to clean things up. Speaking of up, that would be Jack’s pitch count. Quote
IdahoBert Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Gleyber Torres singles on a line drive to center fielder Trent Grisham. Dillon Dingler scores. Parker Meadows scores. Javier Báez to 3rd. Quote
