Looks like the cheapest packages will run you between $2,500 and $3,000 a night with a 3 night minimum for a room + 2 grandstand tickets. As a Silver Arrow fan, I’m hoping last year was a one off and they can find the pace again. I'm a big fan of Emerson, and I always thought he had a name that screamed race car driver. Emerson and Little Al at Indy was a classics of classics, whatever year that was. Nice guy, about 80 now. Bought the land in 1983 when his then wife asked him what he wanted to do important with the rest of his life. So they bought a farm. Planted their first grapes in 1985. Their current operation consists of 300 acres, more than 40 in vines. Small speciality hotel, restaurant, wedding and event venue and tasting room. He's planted most of his property with trees, and has added walking trails this year.As well as some of the best wine I've tasted. You usually see him on the grounds in fatigues, His favorite saying is that any man who looks into the mirror and thinks he's important is an asshole.
