Win or lose, they don't deserve to win. Too many left on base, asking too much of your pitching. Just like most of the last 163 games.

Yeah, you can't keep asking your pitching staff to give up 1 run and still manage to lose the game. This is really a bottom 5 lineup in the league right now. Not just of teams in the playoffs, in the entire league.

Pinch hitting for Greene?  He's really going overboard with not allowing lefty on lefty.  It's like no left handed hitter can hit a left handed pitcher according to Hinch.

He could have waited and pinch hit for Perez. I’d rather a left handed strikeout machine Greene than a right handed deep slump Perez

It's not like Herrin was  painting corners. Perez got three good pitches to hit, Even with the miss by the UMP, Jones still swung out of zone to get himself out.
