Mr.TaterSalad Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Another great inning with Raleigh at bat. He got him out on one pitch. Quote
IdahoBert Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Like AJ said they need three guys in a row to do something. Quote
IdahoBert Posted October 6 Posted October 6 So did another ump get their face mask broken just like last night? Quote

JackMorrisStache Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Great. Castillo settling in; Tigers still looking for hit #1. Putting more pressure on Skubs. Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Need to keep raising his pitch count if nothing else. Too quick of ABs Quote

Mr.TaterSalad Posted October 6 Posted October 6 We've had two innings in a row now of bad at bats. At bats with no hits, no walks, no working the count at all. Ugh! Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted October 6 Posted October 6 oof, that looked gone as soon as he hit it, and it was. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted October 6 Posted October 6 We're ****ed now. Might as well have scored 10 runs there with the way we're hitting. Quote
JackMorrisStache Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Skubs not throwing first pitch strikes; and now he’s having trouble throwing strikes. Better answer in the 5th. Quote
IdahoBert Posted October 6 Posted October 6 I am so tired of our guys being unable to score runs. Quote
lordstanley Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Tiger hitters rely on Skubal too much. They should pretend it’s Paddack on the mound in need of run support. Quote
casimir Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Alright, a solo shot. Skubal’s pitch count is in order. Castillo ain’t gonna last all night, and the bullpen isn’t invincible. Answer that home run in this next half inning and things are fine. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted October 6 Posted October 6 I don't see how we recover now. Frustrating how bad this lineup is. When you have a lineup with the likes of a reincarnated Kimera Bartee, Paul Bako, and Brian Hunter, I don't see how we can get a run at this point. Quote

We drove up one evening to catch a game there. Our son lived in Savannah while attending SCAD years later and we saw some games in Savannah then as well. All this while Savannah was a South Atlantic League member. I wish we could have gone in to check it out. It’s in the corner of a big park surrounded by residential and a bit of light commercial if I remember it correctly. But you could tell it was an older yard, probably recently jazzed up a bit recently for the Bananas. Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Javy walks. if that can happen, anything can happen! Quote
