TP_Fan Posted October 13 Posted October 13 This is a fraudulent effort by the lions. Exactly like Michigan last night. What a bad football weekend. And the tigers. No one in Detroit is interested in winning at all. Quote
number20 Posted October 13 Posted October 13 This looks more like the week one Lions. You have to admit, their wins have come against some crap teams so far. Still in first place though Quote
Nate7474 Posted October 13 Posted October 13 every time we get a ball carrier in our arms they twist forward for an extra 2-3 yards and are consistently in short field. That's a problem that needs addressed in film room with why they aren't getting off the field tonight. Quote
TP_Fan Posted October 13 Posted October 13 The st brown drop was a 21 point swing. The most consequential drop in football history? Quote

number20 Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Ok. Quick TD, recover the onside kick, score winning TD Quote

holygoat Posted October 13 Posted October 13 AND THERE IT IS! A KC PENALTY AFTER THE GAME IS DECIDED. LMFAO! Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Finally a penalty called. Wish Goff would have taken a free shot down field there. Quote

Mr.TaterSalad Posted October 13 Posted October 13 That called back TD really hurt in the end. I know we hurt ourselves with our own mistakes too. Whatever. Onwards to next week. Quote
holygoat Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Ah well, pretty much what I expected. At least it's a loss to an AFC team, so there's that. Still, both sides of the ball have a lot to work on. Hutch should be fined by the team for that late hit on Mahomes. Quote

holygoat Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Just now, Motown Bombers said: No they won't. They only have 3 wins. They have a .700 win pct. We'll have a .666. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted October 13 Author Posted October 13 I don’t believe the Chiefs are more talented than the Lions. Hope they take this as a wake up call. Quote
Nate7474 Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Best 2 teams we have played on the schedule so far both losses. The only good win is Baltimore and that one no longer looks good. This team so far is not as good as last year. I don't mind the losses as I kind of expected 2 losses on the year at this point but its more about how we got outplayed in both of them. Plenty of time to correct mistakes and get healthy again but this turns my concerned level up a notch on if we can compete for a super bowl this year. Quote

NYLion Posted October 13 Posted October 13 This game is going as expected, I had this down as a loss. The Lions are too banged up and there's just no way the Chiefs were going 2-4. The concerning thing to me is that the Lions got whipped up front by Green Bay and Kansas City, this is not something that would happen to Lions teams of the last two years multiple times. Schedule is relentless so they're going to have to bring a better game than this to navigate it going forward. If they lose next week to Tampa homefield is pretty much a wrap with them being 3 games behind those guys, need to win that game. Quote
TP_Fan Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Played two good teams, both games we were uncompetitive. Schedule gets harder. Moves need to be made. Quote

The Baltimore win doesn't look as good only because Lamar got injured, that's still a SB contender with a healthy Lamar but, yes, they got their butts kicked by Green Bay and Kansas City in uncharacteristic Dan Campbell Lions fashion. Sports_Freak Posted October 13 Posted October 13 The Lions haven't lost 2 in a row since 2023? That's gonna be tested next week against Tampa . They're playing really good. Quote

Since the penalty was declined, the Chiefs will end the game with zero penalties. The Lions didn’t let it make a difference, but the NFL wasn’t going to let the Lions win. Quote
