Lots of 3rd period action.  5-3 Wings after Larkin converts from Raymond on a 2 on 0 rush.

That 2-0 was wild. Both teams are playing sloppy late in the 3rd. Ducks especially.

Ken Kal and Paul Woods just noticed this now, 15 minutes in. They don’t know the reason.

The tv broadcast pointed out 2 shots taken to the face. That or getting tripped at the end of the 2nd.

Real loser stuff to put a goon out with the game over and the teams not seeing each other again this season. Maybe Coach Q didn’t notice who he put out there because he was looking the other way…

I really hate that kind of crap. You almost wish as soon as he got on the ice, a wing had just taken his skates out from under him and sent him flying. AFAIAC, that's all guys like that should get in the NHL

17 games in and the Wings only have 3 players with more than 8 points. Kasper still with 3 assists only.

Joel Quenneville oughta know better than to do that kinda ****. He was a player in the league and has been a coach for far too long to not know that kind of crap is wrong for the sport. Even if Quenneville mistakenly didn't know whom he put on the ice, he needs to run his locker room better than that and get his players to fully buy into the fact that end of game goonery is unacceptable. I might be willing to give Quenneville the benefit of the doubt as a one off, but he can't allow that type of behavior to be habitual.

I was making a joke reference to him turning a blind eye to his video coach sexually assaulting his players.

I'm personally unwilling to give Q the benefit of any doubt, he's always been this way.
