They sure kill it in the final 3 quarters.

That was a weird game, the entire team looked gassed in the second half and Cade looked like he couldn't breathe late in the 4th. Not sure why Jenkins only got 8 minutes or why Ivey didn't see the court in the 4th especially with the starters looking exhausted, he played the heck out of the starters for some reason. Anyway, a win is a win

really. Not going to throw back any wins but you have to wonder if any other NBA team has had their record winning streak against so many teams missing so many players.

It's that Indianapolis altitude.   It messes with you.   They're used to playing at about 600 feet above sea level and in Indy they are at 750 feet.

i know some people want to dismiss much of the Pistons run, but every win now is one less you need to have later in the season and it gives them the opportunity to set up a home court advantage in the playoffs and also to rest some of their stars and keep them more charged for a playoff run.   A win is a win and anytime you go 15-2 and win 13 in a row - it's absolutely special.       You saw that stat.  The only other 2 times the Pistons won 13 in a row they won the title those years.   In 1990 they were a favorite to win it all, but the 2004 team was a lot like this one.   People didn't think they had a championship in them until they blew out the Lakers in the famous "5-game sweep".      I recall Jimmy Kimmell watching the game while taping his show and seeing the reaction of the Lakers getting totally blown out.     Nobody thought the Pistons could win that title and they won it easily.  

Jalen Duren has turned into a complete player.  A superstar in the making.  He's on 22.   Better sign him now and not **** around.

And find the key "3rd Star".

It's not Ivey I don't believe. And Ausar and Stew and others on the team right now, IMO, are the "4th guy" or the supporting stars to 1. Cade; 2. (for now) Duren; And 3. ...?

I know the sentiment on the forum is not the same as mine... But my top 3 "3rd Stars" are JJJ, Markkanen, and Myles Turner. None of them may be available... but they are the top 3 on my want list.

Duren may have to wait on his extension until all the "other" pieces on the Pistons stop moving so the Pistons can sign him and go over the cap if necessary.

Just some thoughts of mine...

and Thompson is this team's Rodman - the guy that changes everything when he is on the court regardless of how he shows up (or not) in the box score.

Duren is no longer eligible for an extension.

The Turner thing doesn't make sense to me.  Are you moving Duren if Turner is brought in?  The only position either can play is C.
