As we learned with Barry, just because a team decides to try to take something away, you still have to make them prove they can do it before you give up your A game. If they load the box to stop the run, they'll just be begging for Goff to beat them. Complete enough passes to St Brown and keep them honest. Trying to force the run may not work. Gibbs is really good but he's no Barry Sanders. Quote

Motown Bombers Posted yesterday at 09:06 PM Posted yesterday at 09:06 PM Glasgow is out. I’m wondering if he’s going to IR? Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted yesterday at 09:07 PM Posted yesterday at 09:07 PM Holy ****z Frank Ragnow is coming back. Well, I hope he's in game shape and doesn't end up looking like Eddy Lacy out there. Quote

Jason_R Posted yesterday at 09:21 PM Posted yesterday at 09:21 PM Looks like Glasgow is out tomorrow. Earliest Frank could be back is next Thursday vs. Cowboys but maybe not until Rams game. Probably Colon tomorrow. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted yesterday at 09:24 PM Posted yesterday at 09:24 PM Brad Holmes just got the best center available without giving up any picks. Quote

Campbell will need to go into his bag of tricks tomorrow with Awosika-Colon-Ratledge on the interior. That’s not a playoff caliber offensive line, even with an All Pro RT anchoring. Quote

And Wright as well. Going to be a much different looking offensive game plan then we are used to I think. Mostly run based and short routes again with a screen game. Unfortunately that’s similar to the game plan we had week one and the Packers dominated us. Expect heavy A-gap pressure and simulated pressure with walked up backers for added confusion. Defense I fear is going to need to play great and potentially get a couple takeaways. Quote
holygoat Posted yesterday at 09:30 PM Posted yesterday at 09:30 PM My nephew just texted me the good news. This is huge. Hopefully it's not too late with three important conference games coming up. Quote
KnoxP Posted yesterday at 09:37 PM Posted yesterday at 09:37 PM Now that this happened-not criticizing-if he’s in shape as suggested and given the state of the OL prior to Glasgow injury-wonder why this waited until the absolute last moment? Selfishly wishing he would be playing tomorrow. Quote

Assuming he's in football shape and ready to go. I think most likely we won't see him until the Rams game because it will take a couple of weeks to get into football shape and ready for full contact. This is a plus addition though for sure. Quote

Hard to wait for LA…game-wish sooner. Edited yesterday at 10:03 PM by KnoxP Quote

I think Skipper may get close to 100% of snaps as a sixth offensive lineman as well, allowing the tackle to help in the inside a little more. Quote
