Can’t see how they can turn this season around.  Still a good young core that can be very good next year with a more favorable schedule.  Lions in ‘27!

Team stats were pretty close, with the exception of the three sacks by the Packers.  The Lions not being able to put Love on the ground was the difference.

No way, they aren't making the playoffs. They have too much going wrong for them to be a playoff team. They might not even beat Dallas next week.

Yup, gonna need other teams to do their heavy lifting for them at this point, and they just look like an average NFL squad atm. Hutch has been largely non-existent since signing his big contract, and the O-line is garbage.

They will 100 percent not beat Dallas.  Are you kidding. They can’t stop Green Bay’s trash offense, no chance of stopping Dallas.  Shepard has to go.  Campbell needs to change or he can go too.

Kennedy off the practice squad gets double the targets of TeSlaa. I wanted him to succeed so bad, but it was obviously another bad trade and pick. Either you have it or you don’t as a WR.

never thought I would say this of a Dan Campbell team, but they are really underperforming. Genuinely shocked.

Dan needs to stop with the 4th down silliness. now that the games actually matter you cannot keep pushing all-in on every 4th down. be a man and take the effing 3 points. this isn't Madden.

Yeah they need a kind of reset year…and Brad needs to realize in the nfl you can’t just rely on internal improvment

We are already back to the days of looking forward to the draft and the next season. No wonder we hang on to the draft picks. That’s our Super Bowl.

For me the season’s failures come down to the hiring of John Morton and company.

7-5 with this roster just isn’t good enough.

I didn't mind him doing that when Ragnow was at center and the offense was full-strength. They were nearly unstoppable. He has to get it through his Motor City meat head that he can't expect the same results with backups all over the field. He's the king of doing it when he shouldn't

Season is on life support and I firmly believe that a lot of it is on coaching. Dan has made questionable decisions all season with the offense and the defense, even when getting healthier, has gotten worse and worse under Shep.  This roster is too good, even with the offensive line questions, to be 7-5 IMO

Sticking to a philosophy helped break free of the loser mentality. That same stubbornness is now a liability. Deciding what kind of defense you are going to play despite not having the players to play that effectively is just dumb.

Last complaint. An NFL defense starts and ends with it’s pass rush. We don’t have consistent pass rush. This has been an issue for years.

 

The Eagles consistently have a good defense despite all that churn specifically because they aren’t married to draft and develop. You need a mix of draft, free agents, and trades to succeed.

Teslaa made a couple of great catches in this game. He's a 3rd round pick on a team where he's the #3/#4 option, this isn't on him.

And to be clear, he’s been out snapped by Reynolds all year and out targeted by Kennedy fresh off the practice squad today. That has nothing to do with being the whatever number option. That’s about not being able to beat out Reynolds or Kennedy to get on the field.

And it’s not just the wr vacuum. It’s also could the body at corner/de of whatever had a bigger impact CT

I don't agree. Teams with a weak O-line usually don't win. Our line used to be a strength, making our QB, receivers and running backs look and play good. Right now our line is a major weakness, not allowing for plays to be made downfield.

He was for one game, are we judging his career on that?

He's a rookie 3rd round receiver on a team deep with receiver options, he was never going to get many targets this season.

Did you read the posts? He has been out snapped by Raymond all year. I am judging him based off not being better than Raymond. That’s a big deal, Raymond is not a very talented receiver. Maybe he will be used more next year! I can’t wait for next year to talk about all the players on the roster that will be valuable the year after.
