Sports_Freak Posted December 4 Posted December 4 (edited) Was Giannis out all that time because of a leg injury? It looked like an Achilles type injury now, no contact, he just dropped. Edit; he had a strained left adductor. Best I can tell, thats in the hip. Injuries like that can lead to further injuries if not allowed to heal. I hate to see star players hurt. Sports_Freak Posted December 4 Posted December 4 Stewart is a foul magnet. And he never gets calls. No wonder he gets so frustrated. Quote
Deleterious Posted December 4 Posted December 4 A crazy easy schedule and the pistons have the most single digit wins in the league? That's interesting Quote
Deleterious Posted December 4 Posted December 4 That might have been the worst loss of the year. You need to beat Milwaukee without Giannis. Simms outplayed both of our centers tonight. Dumb Holland showed up. Jenkins has been awful lately. Levert and Cade's shooting was terrible. The team in general hasn't played well the past week or two it seems. Quote
NYLion Posted December 4 Posted December 4 Pistons kind of coming back to earth. 2-3 in their last 5 with two of the wins being close. Cade has been very uneven with his play and JB's love affair with LeVert might well be the Pistons undoing, what he sees in this guy that he wants him out there in the clutch I will never understand. George said the Pistons lead the league in single digit wins. Those close games could easily turn into losses. Quote
papalawrence Posted December 4 Posted December 4 Ugliest game of the year. Worse than Cleveland game. Jenkins coming back to earth a bit. Last 2 games he is 5-24 from the floor, 1-13 from 3. Cade has 18 and 17 points in those games. They haven't had their flow these games - I do think they miss Duncan. Quote
buddha Posted December 4 Posted December 4 jenkins turned back into jenkins. caris lavert still kind of sucks. ron holland continues to be a disappointment. cade cant save you every night. have teams figured out how to stop the cade to duren pipeline? cade cant save you every night. need more scoring. need ivey to become the guy we were promised with the #5 pick in the draft. Deleterious Posted December 4 Posted December 4 I would get ready for a lot of zone in the playoffs. 1 Quote

It still comes down to what we said all off season - it's just that they have managed to won a bunch in spite of it - more guys need to shoot better to space better. They were leaving Ausar alone on the baselne - Cade finally tossed it to him unguarded - he missed the shot -- and Duren can't back out of traffic and hit a floater. Doesn't help that Cade's 3pt% is down to .301 either. Without Robinson no-one could make a trey but Tobias. speaking of which - JB ought to suggest to Lavert that when he gets to 1 for 6 or so he give it a rest for a while. When you end up 1 for 10 you might as well have been passing the ball to the other team. Edited December 4 by gehringer_2 Quote
