If what you are asking is, did Trump put on a green visor, put pen to paper, and spend hours going over spreadsheets and creating flowcharts and call plans? I would guess no.

Did he have anything to do with the process at all other than bullying and threatening people?

It’s the Jews fault.

I'm tired of anyone from either side who needs Israel or Palestine to be the top issue in American politics.

Bullying and threatening people is the gold of the process!

I’m pretty sure he knows what he’s doing on this one.

This is comic to envision.

Maybe, but being a mob boss is not the same as being an engineer.

maybe - but getting drawn into intra-party squabbles before you are even elected is not my idea of good political strategy. Not a battle he has to fight - He's not running in PA.

Fetterman exists in the sphere of brainworm infected Magas.  I don't think party is the fault line here.

With any conspiracy theory, the lack of evidence is further proof that the conspiracy is real.

If not for the conspiracy theory, I would be able to offer you proof, but the conspiracy prevents that.

This is where I'm at

Remember, Susan Collins did:

- stand around as Roe was killed

- allowed RFKjr to be the HHS sec

- allowed Kegbreath to happen

- allowed Kristy Noem and her lover and Greg Bovino to shoot down Americans in the streets and build concentration camps

- will support more conservative bots to replace Alito and Thomas

Putting aside the Nazism, domestic violence, and his fetish for killing Arabs, what is so special about Graham Platner? He's a complete fraud. He was born into wealth. He lives off VA disability. His oyster farm is a hobby, he's not working class. He's a former blackwater op. He's voted for Susan Collins. Nothing about him indicates he's even a progressive or liberal. Why are so many on the left debasing themselves for this piece of ****? These same Dems that took down Biden who was a true progressive and served this country for 50 years can't find a way to force this pile of garbage out? There's no track record that he is even different than Collins. We do have options. Remember, Murkowski lost a primary to the far right and then won on a write in campaign. You can write in Costello or Mills. We are not forced to elect this scumbag.

he will be the Dem nominee. Collins will be the MAGA nominee. only option is to run a 3rd party candidate to make sure Collins wins in a landside.

Nope. The people of Maine can write in Costello or Mills. It has been done before in small rural states.

And don't give me this **** that Platner will be the nominee. So was Joe Biden.

They don't have to write in Mills, she'll still be on the ballot, Yet the people of Maine apparently have had little interest in funding their uber-popular ex-governor to stay in the race against him. I don't think you've asked the more interesting question. It's not why the Bernie types like him, it's not that he's captured the national party leadership. There is plenty of scepticism of Platner in the national democratic party. The question to ask is why Mills couldn't manage the support to keep running against him?. The mainstream choice is still right there for the voters.

That’s simply not true. Mills did get funding from Mainers. Platner is getting a lot of funding from out of state. I was talking about a write in campaign if Platner wins the nomination. A lot of the national party has just thrown up their hands and said he’s not the nominee, nothing we can do. The party was so unified in forcing Biden out after he won the primary. This is the weakness of Democrats.

then the only conclusion is she really didn't real care to run a race. So your argument should be with Schumer for recruiting someone for the job who had no will to do it. Which is pretty much the critic of the old guard democratic party in a nutshell.

Platner was recruited by the far left and was promoted by Bernie Sanders who blasted him out to his donor list which gave him an insurmountable funding advantage. It's ironic for the part of the party that screams about AIPAC. It's not the job of Schumer or the DNC to fund candidates in the primary.

i remember feeling similar to MB when I saw the clown shows during the 2008 and 2012 GOP primary seasons with the novelty candidates that eventually were driven off by McCain and Romney at great expense.

In 2016 the novelty candidate happened to win and we* are all made worse for it.

*except those who will be able to grift so hard they can't be proven to have committed a crime

What is so special about Platner? None of his ideas are new. He has no track record. He's a pathological liar and narcissist. How do we know he is even going to be to the left of Collins? He literally voted for her multiple times. Platner is what the DC elite think a man's man is. He's a caricature. Any Democrat who supports this filth is no different than MAGA.
