Mize pulled after 43 pitches and 1.2 innings. Couldn’t find the strike zone and walked four.

And then, of course Mize comes back out after a good talking to or whatever the heck it is… It’s hard to get used to this rule, but it makes sense in spring training.

Mize COMPLETELY ineffective at 6 hits 6 runs and 4 walks in a total of 3 innings.

On the optimistic side - aside from Mize - all the relievers who have come in have done pretty well, although I can’t speak for the quality of the hitting they are facing. I’m not paying too much attention to this game.

Brieske pitched a clean frame with a K against the Pirates, which is good news.

appears the Tiger hitters weren't either. Torkelson, McGonigle, Green, Carpenter, Keith, Roger a combined O for a bunch of ABs.

Wow, after four innings Skubal is really dealing. He has registered 5K’s and one hit in only 46 pitches against the Jays.

On my MLB.TV there is allegedly a Detroit Tigers TV feed, but all it gives me is the Toronto feed, but the Tigers radio feed is now perfectly synchronized with the picture and this is the first time this spring where they had finally achieved this level of acuity, which is good.
