And then, of course Mize comes back out after a good talking to or whatever the heck it is… It’s hard to get used to this rule, but it makes sense in spring training. Quote

On the optimistic side - aside from Mize - all the relievers who have come in have done pretty well, although I can’t speak for the quality of the hitting they are facing. I’m not paying too much attention to this game. Quote
IdahoBert Posted yesterday at 03:25 AM Posted yesterday at 03:25 AM Brieske pitched a clean frame with a K against the Pirates, which is good news. Quote

IdahoBert Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Wow, after four innings Skubal is really dealing. He has registered 5K’s and one hit in only 46 pitches against the Jays. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago On my MLB.TV there is allegedly a Detroit Tigers TV feed, but all it gives me is the Toronto feed, but the Tigers radio feed is now perfectly synchronized with the picture and this is the first time this spring where they had finally achieved this level of acuity, which is good. IdahoBert Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Although I don’t really care about the scores in these games, it was nice to see Scoob do a good job and the relief guys do good jobs too. It was nice to see a W against the Jays too. Quote

IdahoBert Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Valdez starts in Sunday’s March 15 game against the Yankees in Tampa. Both the Yankees and the Tigers are alleged to provide TV feeds, although that was alleged today for the Blue Jays game and there was only a Blue Jays feed. The Tigers radio feed, however, was perfectly synced with the picture on MLB.TV which made up for it and a Tigers radio feed is available for Sunday. I guess we’ll find out, although I’ll be missing this game as I have other plans. Hope any of the rest of you enjoy it. The Valdez starts have been a bright spot. Quote

I don't usually care about spring training performance of career minor leaguers, but the Harris administration has been good at finding pitching diamonds in the rough, so they might have somethting. We'll see. 1 Quote
