Tiger337 Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Henning did say today that Torkelson/Greene will add more than Verlander/Zumaya. Quote
Tigermojo Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Verlander had 2.8 war and Zumaya 2.0 in 2006. No pressure youngsters. Quote

FanGraphs is projecting: Torkelson 2.6 Greene 2.5 It's really hard to project rookies and either one of them might bomb, but I think the projections are very attainable. Quote

Scottwood Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Kreidler, at minimum, is going to be a multi-year backup utility infielder for the Tigers. I'd think he'll be up full time by next season. Not sure if he'll hit enough for anything beyond that, but it would be surprising if he didn't carve out a role at this point in MLB. Barring injury, of course. Quote
Scottwood Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Greene's batted ball data, even ignoring the outcomes, is elite. It's better than Tork's, actually. Hopefully he can keep it up. Quote
casimir Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 There's always room on an MLB roster for a glove. Quote
