Matty V's home run prevented a win.    LOL.   If it strikes out, the game would have been over before the delay.   

 

Now they'll go back out there and Kevn McGonigle will make a play on the infield grass and plant his leg to throw, his leg will give way in the wet grass and it will be a career-alterting injury.   He'll never be the same again.    

And then the Wings will win their next game and look great doing it and give their fans false hope before they turn around and lose again. 

And the Pistons will get railroaded in the playoffs with a bunch of bad ref calls and get knocked out in the first round

And everyone on the Lions will get hurt again. 

And it will be 40 degrees again tomorrow

Life sucks.

The Cardinals should be furious over this.   They couldn't wait it out a few hours.    

We just had a big come-from-behind victory happen against us this week.  It happened elsewhere in baseball too !
 

6 run innings can't happen?

STL used 25 outs to the Tigers 24.   They had more chances than the Tigers.  They didn’t get cheated.

I can’t tell if MCS is doing a bit. Those are the best bits to do. 
 

Anyway, seeing as how this is how it has always been done for as long as we can remember, I’m not sure what’s so objectionable about yesterday’s game. Everyone on the field knows the deal when rain is in the forecast.

They showed the managers and Scott Harris and the umps in the dugout and everyone seemed agreeable and happy.
