Dan Gilmore Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Bases full of Bengals-no outs for Javy. Gets a sac fly to cut the lead to one. Still two on, one out. Pinch hitter in for Colt. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Time for Kevin to be the hero first and third two outs 4–3 cards. Quote

Dan Gilmore Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Seabold can’t find the zone. Cards have loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the eighth. Quote
chasfh Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I know we don’t love the idea of Seabold in this situation—bases loaded, one out, up one in the eighth—but this is the time to see whether he can handle it. Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It’s becoming quickly apparent that Seabold, De Jesus and Anderson ain’t it. Quote

Sac fly but still only one run, and ends on a good strikeout. Seabold wasn’t terrible, so unless he completely implodes, he’ll get another chance at it. Quote
Dan Gilmore Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I haven’t given up on De Jesus, partially because he’s one of the few LHers in the pen. And I think he might be better than Hurter. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago would have been nice to have Keith taking that AB. Quote
lordstanley Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I’m not used to Benetti sounding so excited when a Tiger strikes out Quote
Tenacious D Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Think we have to stop pinch hitting for Keith prior to the 8th inning. Quote

And I think he might be better than Hurter. Yeah, I’m with you on this. The runs he gave up today were kind of bad luck as it was mainly on his fielding error (which helped Montero’s ERA but not his own, which I may have never seen before). He did give up the one sharp single, but he also got the last seven guys he faced out, including three swinging strikeouts. This outing didn’t hurt his standing. Quote

Sports_Freak Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I thought for sure Torres was going to bust the game open with the bases loaded against a LH pitcher. The deciding at bat of the gane Quote
