Motor City Sonics Posted April 11 Posted April 11 The way a bum like Chris Paddack looked the Tigers are on watch to get no-hit today. This guy's name might be Junk, but he's better than Paddack. Quote

This guy's name might be Junk, but he's better than Paddack. Mize pitching today. Day game after a night game. Seems like a Rogers start. I like the top 3 in the order that we saw last night. McGonigle, Torres, Keith. I would like to see that continue. Then a mix & match following that until getting to Baez at the bottom. Shuffle 4-8 around based on the other SP's handedness, consider defense for Valdez' starts, incorporate days off for Dingler, etc, etc. Baez, should he be on the base paths, with that top trio at the plate? That could get an opposing battery off of its game. Quote
casimir Posted April 11 Author Posted April 11 Kind of surprised that Dingler is catching today. Quote

roarintiger1 Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Not a fan of Perez batting 2nd. In fact, not a fan of Perez batting.....period. Prove me wrong Wenceel. Quote
chasfh Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Ugh, I cannot watch the commercial spot for Tigers tickets even one more time on DSN. They must not be selling enough commercial time to actual advertisers because they run the tickets spot literally every break, there are only two executions in rotation, and I think they’re 60 seconds long. As soon as I hear the horn intro for the spot, off the audio goes. I feel I‘m watching a streaming service instead of a cable/satellite service. Quote
IdahoBert Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Batting Perez, a Latino guy, in the two spot is a very Leyland kind of thing to do except that at 5’11” he’s probably too tall. Quote
IdahoBert Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Double Colt Keith doubles (7) on a line drive to left fielder Heriberto Hernández. Kevin McGonigle scores. Quote
IdahoBert Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Riley Greene singles on a sharp line drive to right fielder Owen Caissie. Colt Keith scores. Quote
chasfh Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Riley with the ribbie single! For as bad as Riley has been—.204 BA, .573 OPS, 73 wRC+ coming into the game—he had gotten on base all 14 games, and now all 15. 1 Quote
gehringer_2 Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Riley's best AB this year. You could see Junk was setting him up for a high fast ball but then he left it middle middle instead of getting it up high enough and Riley didn't miss. Quote
IdahoBert Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Riley Greene homers (1) on a fly ball to right center field. Kevin McGonigle scores. Dillon Dingler scores. Wow! One run short of the magic number. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Riley getting a hold of one breaks the game open, for now. Quote
