papalawrence Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Even still, I think Castle has superstar potential. He has a lot of Cade to his game, including the grit Quote
RatkoVarda Posted May 21 Posted May 21 switch out Holland for Castle and this team is still playing. Getting jack squat from the 5th pick in 2022 and 2024 drafts just kills me Quote
Deleterious Posted May 21 Author Posted May 21 Replace Ron with anyone that contributes and they might still be playing. That 2024 draft class is terrible. I guess Castle is the best player from that class, but I'm not a big fan of his. I think Harper eventually will replace him in the starting lineup. Maybe as early as next season. Taking Ron at 5 was kind of silly. All projections had him going between 10-15. Buzelis should have been the pick there. 1 Quote

Deleterious Posted May 22 Author Posted May 22 Love the Cavs strategy tonight. Can't blow a 4th quarter lead if you never have a 4th quarter lead. 1 Quote

I wanted them to take Clingan...but Buzelis would have been better than Holland too Quote
Deleterious Posted May 24 Author Posted May 24 Cavs offense really struggles when road cones Harris and Robinson aren't out there. Quote
Deleterious Posted May 24 Author Posted May 24 Mitchell had 4 points in the 4th quarter. That was 4 more than Harden had. Those guys make, what? $100 million combined this year. Quote
Deleterious Posted May 24 Author Posted May 24 Not sure how they will do against the west. But the Knicks are playing good basketball right now. Quote
buddha Posted May 24 Posted May 24 the knicks are disgusting, but its so nice to see the cavs lose because harden and mitchell cant perform when it matters. Quote
Deleterious Posted May 24 Author Posted May 24 To be fair, the Cavs are a pretty bad team. Going further, Atlanta, Philly, and Cleveland isn't exactly murderers row. Quote

And the Knicks offense is cruising because it only took Mike Brown 3 quarters of basketball to realize James Harden was on the court and you can attack him every time. JB couldn't figure that out in 7 games. I never thought I'd be saying Mike Brown is smarter than anyone, but here we are. 1 Quote
Motown Bombers Posted May 25 Posted May 25 22 years ago. The play that really won the championship. Quote
Deleterious Posted May 25 Author Posted May 25 Finals start June 3rd. If the Knicks sweep they will have 9 days off again. Quote

Deleterious Posted May 26 Author Posted May 26 Tonight says a lot about the Cavs. That team will look very different next year. They have tax/apron issues. Koby Altman and Atkinson are both in trouble. No way is Harden back. One of Mobley or Allen needs to go. Mitchell becomes extension eligible this summer. He probably wasn't going to sign it anyway, since waiting until next summer makes him eligible for a larger extension. But, he could be traded. Quote
Deleterious Posted May 26 Author Posted May 26 Oh man, Harden has a $42 million player option. I would imagine he picks that up. Unless he thinks he can sign something like 3/$75 million. Quote
buddha Posted May 26 Posted May 26 cavs are done. this was their peak. that said, if you had to get rid of atkinson or altman, you get rid of the guy who put harden on this team. i'd probably get rid of them both, but altman for sure. the pistons ran out of gas. the cavs ran out of heart. 1 Quote
GalagaGuy Posted May 26 Posted May 26 Cavs fans sure are getting a big dose of karma with all the smack talking they were doing after routing the Pistons in Game 7. Quote
