chasfh Posted April 26 Posted April 26 They’ve interrupted the Cubs-Dodgers game with a Fox News Alert. Surprised they’re not cutting into this game. Maybe they think no one is watching this anyway. 1 Quote
guy incognito Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Is it just me or does this game feel like it’s lasted about five hours? Quote

IdahoBert Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Right now, giving a damn about this game is right up there with re-organizing deck chairs on the Titanic. Quote

He was 75-80 with a 4.28 ERA, a 103 ERA+, zero postseason appearances, and one fourth-place Cy Young vote in eight seasons with the team. No further comment. Look man, Harang was the best pitcher the reds had for like 10 years in the 00’s. Back then if you had an era under 5 on reds staff you were killing it. It was also the steroid era. Quote

That should save the bullpen from further attrition. <s> Hold on, I earned 7 points for this from @Biff Mayhem? How do I redeem the points? Are these like the points earned at arcades? Do I take them to a counter and get candy or some sillly putty or maybe a handful of mini Ditkas? Quote

I can accept the idea that the Reds were so bad during that era that they had to somehow identify the tallest midget to honor, but if it was the steroids era’s fault that they had no choice but to honor a four-plus ERA, at least his ERA+ would be closer to 115 or 120 than 103. 1 Quote

casimir Posted April 26 Author Posted April 26 Per bbref, Aaron Harang’s top similarity score match is Randy Wolf. So when are we going to see a Wolf statue at Commercial Park? Quote

His stretch between 2005-2007 was pretty good: ERA+ 112 124 124 WAR 4.5 5.3 6.0 Quote

Most Ohio people do love Michigan over what that barren wasteland to the south of us is. It's where all of our toilets flush to. And it smells. Quote
