Deleterious Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Translation: None of them actually want to play there. But they are happy to use Chicago to drive up their contract price. Quote

Deleterious Posted May 4 Author Posted May 4 A lot better on offense than Ausar, but still can't shoot at all. I don't think I would give him a max extension. Especially not this summer. Wait and see what he does next year and maybe then he is worth the max. Quote
Deleterious Posted May 4 Author Posted May 4 Most expect Orlando to fire Mosley. The first name I read in the rumor mill to replace him is Dusty May. College coaches don't have a good track record jumping to the NBA. Can't imagine why they would want to go the junior varsity route. Quote

GalagaGuy Posted May 4 Posted May 4 97.1 is reporting that Orlando is interested in Dusty May. 🥺 Quote
Deleterious Posted May 4 Author Posted May 4 That Jakob Poeltl extension will haunt Toronto. Around $28 million per starting next year. He played 19 MPG and gave them 7 points and 6 rebounds per game in the Cleveland series. He was pretty much unplayable at times. Quote

Betrayer Posted May 4 Posted May 4 (edited) 1 hour ago, Motown Bombers said: Why? He already had 3 years left on his deal and we haven't even gotten to play a game in the second round of the playoffs yet. Are they trying to get ahead of the CotY awards in case he wins it? Previously we had a Weaver organization that made moves on top of moves, recklessly firing "all the bullets in the clip" and shedding assets along the way. Now we have the opposite. An organization that is loyal to a fault. This is the type of organization that cripples its future by giving Duren a max contract, so get ready for it. Edited May 4 by Betrayer 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted May 5 Author Posted May 5 The extension is a head scratcher for sure. Not opposed to rewarding good work. But put a car in his driveway. Give him access to your private jet and tell him to take his family anywhere he wants for 2 weeks on your dime. There was no reason to extend him if he had 3 years left. Quote
Deleterious Posted May 5 Author Posted May 5 Hey, you say something dumb so I can respond on my podcast for clicks. Also, the airline bailouts don't even rank top 3, do they? Fannie and Freddie, S&L, AIG, the auto bailouts in 2008 were all bigger I'm pretty sure. Quote
buddha Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Jaylen Brown calling someone else out for flopping is pretty hilarious. Quote

With the amount of money Gores flushed on Monty I would not worry. Must be all pocket change to him. Quote
