IdahoBert Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Looks like Jake took a ball in the cup after it bounced on the ground. Shook it off because hell it’s Jake. Quote

Tenacious D Posted May 3 Posted May 3 I can barely tell Peaches apart from the other guy in the booth. Does Petry have a twin? Regardless, nice to see him get a national game. Quote
Tigermojo Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Didn't McGonigle pop out twice to third yesterday? Opposing pitchers figure out something? 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 3 Posted May 3 The good thing about this game not being on mlb.tv is that I don’t have to watch local Idaho ads for Washington Mutual bank featuring Cal Raleigh over and over and over again. Quote

Sports_Freak Posted May 3 Posted May 3 (edited) Who is that, Anthony Rizzo they keep talking to? His speech is so monotone, it'll put people to sleep. Dull... Edited May 3 by Sports_Freak Quote
JackMorrisStache Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Why is it that every pitcher we face “looks the best they’ve looked all year”? Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Jack Leiter has a way to go before he’s an ace, bro. Bascik really glazing his hometown guys while our announcers are keeping it professional Quote

Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Wallside Windows is gonna get paid with all these pitching changes. Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Hanifee has looked decent so far since he’s been back up. Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 3 Posted May 3 It’s early, but this home plate umpire is pretty good on the strike zone so far, especially the close stuff. Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 4 Posted May 4 The ads are awful. It’s like watching a civilization in collapse and knowing who runs things. Gambling, pharmaceuticals, and alcoholic beverages that look so sweet and attractive they could draw the interest of children. Quote

I took a one hopper to the inner thigh last week at softball. I’m rusty, have not played in years, still working up the speed of the ball off of the bat at times, still judging ball path in the air, bouncing on the ground. Made the play, threw the batter out at first. When I say inner, I mean inner. Bruised up about the shape of the softball. I now have a new piece of equipment for this softball season. 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Jake and Wenceel are making things look better because neither one of them struck out. Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Colt wastes one of the Tigers’ challenges on an umpire who so far has been pretty accurate. Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Kevin’s rookie cards are already selling for $10,000-$15,000. Quote
