It’s early, but this home plate umpire is pretty good on the strike zone so far, especially the close stuff.

The ads are awful. It’s like watching a civilization in collapse and knowing who runs things. Gambling, pharmaceuticals, and alcoholic beverages that look so sweet and attractive they could draw the interest of children.

I took a one hopper to the inner thigh last week at softball.  I’m rusty, have not played in years, still working up the speed of the ball off of the bat at times, still judging ball path in the air, bouncing on the ground.  Made the play, threw the batter out at first.  When I say inner, I mean inner.  Bruised up about the shape of the softball.  I now have a new piece of equipment for this softball season.
