NorthWoods Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I know it's not true but good lord it seems like Detroit teams always get jobbed on calls, reviews and non calls....... 1 Quote

GalagaGuy Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Is it really too much to ask that outfield walls be designed so you don't need a review to determine whether or not a ball left the park? Quote
Tiger337 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago He definitely looked safe, but camera angles are tricky and the views I saw all had the glove partly hidden. I think the intention of the replay is to overturn calls which are so obvious that there is zero doubt. This was close to 0 but not 0. Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Wenceel will totally be called out because the Tigers can't buy a break. Quote
theroundsquare Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Sigh. They already scored their runs today. Now what? Quote

Biff Mayhem Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago What in the actual flying foxtrot is going on with this team? Quote
kdog Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Horrendous stuff...I'll comfort myself that they have 110 games left. Quote
RedRamage Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago According to the rule it has to be clear evidence to over turn a call, right? So, one could argue that even though it looked like Workman was safe, it just wasn't clear enough to over turn. Benetti made the argument that this isn't how we've seen it applied to challenges over the season, but if you want to go by the strict rule, then yeah... you could argue that maybe there just wasn't enough there. So, what about Perez at first? Supposedly there was clear evidence... we haven't seen it, at least not yet. I'll certainly accept that there might be a view that we haven't seen that makes it clear, but I'd sure like to see it. As for this last one: If I'm just judging by some of the replays, I'd say I'd probably call him safe, but... it certainly isn't perfectly clear. There's no smoking gun there in my opinion that says it's obvious he was safe. It sure seems like they applied that the idea of: "He's probably safe based on what we can think we can see, so overturn it." Which of course ISN'T what they did with the Workman play. Of course I reserve the right to change my opinion on this if we see better video in the future. Quote
