Motor City Sonics Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Hi there. I'll start with 3 from TV that are top of mind for me Go find these on You Tube 1. Taxi - What Does a Yellow Light Mean. If you know, you know. Reverend Jim may have saved the show. 2. Sopranos - Christopher Multisanti's Funeral. Darkly funny the Sopranos way 3. Mary Tyler Moore - Chuckles The Clow Funeral. The part that makes it so funny is Mary wasn't acting, she was really cracking up. 1 Quote

oblong Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Some of my favorites; The introduction of Larry, Daryl and Daryl on Newhart. Bob and Chucks magic trick on soap. from movies, the only times I sustained a laugh to where I had to fight to stop, in a theater happened 3 times Naked Gun when he had the mic on while urinating. Dumb and Dumber when they ate the burgers with all the peppers. Something about Mary, the “hair gel” Quote
CMRivdogs Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Blazing Saddles....One of the lines I find myself saying a lot 1 Quote
CMRivdogs Posted May 17 Posted May 17 This one is obscure, but one of those movies I saw on TV in my early teens. One of my favorite scenes... Quote
Tigermojo Posted May 17 Posted May 17 The Office when everything on Dwight's desk is in the vending machine and he's going to buy it all but his wallet is also in the vending machine. Big Bang Theory when Sheldon creates a security system but gets trapped by it. "I am no longer the master of my own bladder." Big Bang Theory in the ball pit. "Bazinga." Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted June 4 Posted June 4 one of my favorites ever. I'm not necessarily a Michael Winslow fan, but this bit took me out completely when I was a kid and still always makes me laugh. Quote

Wow, I meant to say Christopher's Mutlisanti's Intervention, not Funeral. Quote

Then Keaton added rne “whatever it takes” Just today I thought of this movie. I took the day off to get a bunch of little things done around the house. Power Wash the siding on the garage, check some gutters down spouts to make sure pine needles didn’t sneak thru the guards, do some caulking, burn some limbs, take down a garden fence, hang some shelving we took down after having painting done…. Trying to decide when I can have a beer or scotch. Quote

chasfh Posted June 10 Posted June 10 I find this hilarious because a deep FM cut Pink Floyd song is featured. Quote
smr-nj Posted June 14 Posted June 14 “Serpentine”!!!! “serpentine!!!!” 😂. God, I love that scene Quote
LaceyLou Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Season 1 from Benson, Bugging the Governor. The scene where they're acting out the script Benson wrote to flush out the person who put them there is pure gold. Quote

IdahoBert Posted June 14 Posted June 14 The last episode in Newhart in 1990 - the show with Larry Darrell and Darrell - where Bob Newhart wakes up from a dream and starts recounting how bizarre that series was which included an heiress that was inexplicably a maid, etc., etc. to Suzanne Pleshette who was his wife in his first show -the Bob Newhart Hour - which ended in 1978. The joke was that the second series had never happened. I laughed so hard. It was unbelievable, and it was really tender and beautiful too. 2 Quote
