GalagaGuy Posted July 1 Posted July 1 If Hinch would just check internet message boards once in a while, the Tigers might have 70 wins by now. 🤣 1 3 Quote

I think it was Dingler, in the 11th inning, who grounded out to 2nd base and Jason said he did a good job moving the runner to 3rd base with less than 2 outs. I didn't agree then and I still don't agree. The Tigers had already stranded runners at 3rd base with 1 out, twice, so the only result I wanted was a hit to score that runner. The Yankees gave away an out in the 10th when they could have won with a hit. Not good baseball, IMO. Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted July 1 Posted July 1 The problem I have is it was the Outman-Rogers part of the lineup. Odds of them getting a hit to score the run are……not good. If it was any other part of the order then yeah, swing away. Quote

The tigers have also been terrible in extra innings over the last couple years so I'm not sue I'd want to agree with him. Now I don't love bunting but we should be looking to lift the ball deep or hit to the right side. Quote

If the Tigers weren't so bad at situational hitting, I may agree to getting runners to 3rd base with one out. Especially at home in regulation late innings. But we really seem terrible at getting that run home. I have no idea how we compare to other teams but it's one of the reasons we're so bad in extra innings. Quote

They all walked, bringing in a run and setting up McKinstry to get a hit. Getting Kevin to 3rd really ended up not even mattering. That Lee walk was very impressive, down 0-2 against a 103 MPH pitcher. Quote

Sometimes it's not who you play, but when you play them. Quote

I am certainly not your bro, nor would I ever want to be. And it's not moronic. The GM paid this guy to be the closer. If you aren't going to use him then why even have him on the roster? Quote

I'll let AJ know that from now on he needs to look at the contracts of his team when making the lineup or bring in a reliever. Quote

It's an internet message board...it isn't really that important to 99.9999% of the people but only you, the 0.0001% of people on the Earth who thinks it really matters what is said on them. Quote

Yes, it's an internet message board. That's where people make comments and other either agree or disagree and give their opinions. Apparently you're unable to navigate these spaces without getting triggered by someone not agreeing with you. While we're here, lets put together a lineup for the Tigers that you would approve of. Framber Valdez - P Tarik Skubal - C Jack Flaherty - 1B Kenley Jensen - 2B Kyle Finnegan - SS Drew Anderson - 3B Casey Mize - LF Riley Greene - CF Colt Keith - RF Zach McKinstry - DH That's a hundred wins, easy!
