My father-in-law knew the manager of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Twin Falls, Idaho, which incidentally was opened many many many years ago by Ty Cobb’s son, and this guy was a pitcher and had three major league at bats and he had two hits so he had a career .667 batting average. papalawrence Posted July 10 Posted July 10 In May they lose this game. Jansen actually gets a save for that. Now take 2 of 3 vs Philly! Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Awesome interview. It means so much to him for his family. We got a new fan favorite in the D 3 Quote

chasfh Posted July 10 Posted July 10 It was very very strange to see Eduardo Valencia get so emotional talking about his family and the people of Venezuela, then get a celebratory Gatorade shower halfway through, then go right back to finish his emotional statement, and then get a huge hug on the field afterwards from (I assume) his wife. I am verklempt. 🥲 Quote
IdahoBert Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Yeah, it’s his wife. You know being the wife of a career minor league can’t be easy. 1 Quote

IdahoBert Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Eduardo had a tattoo on his arm which I think is probably the date of his marriage something like October 10, 2023. Quote
