Worst baserunner in MLB

I said that last season when he was thrown out at 3rd to end the inning and was told he is a fine baserunner.

Welp, this weekend cements it - this team is not going to the playoffs and they need to sell at the deadline and try again in 2028.

Too many bums on this team.   Just too many guys who have no business being in the majors.     Greene, McGonigle, Lee and Dingler are the only ones worth keeping.  Get rid of the rest and rebuild.

Needed to take a minimum of 3 games and instead we split the series and nearly lost it but got bailed out by a timely James Outman 3 run HR.

Were also one strike away from losing a series to the Angels.

The correct thing to do is intelligently sell.

my bad - didn't nail the ambiguity. I meant bullpen catchers - maybe add a little focus to the warmups.

Oh, ha, that's right, "BP" means bullpen to you, not batting practice. I keep forgetting.

LOL - but it's not the connection - the fibre is pretty flawless, it's something with the hand offs from MLB to DTV.

I don't get that problem with the dish. Just thunderstorm interference maybe half a dozen times a year for maybe ten minutes at a time. I'm fine with it.

You know this team definitely has its moments and it has a future, but I don’t think this present season will pan out well enough for this club not to try to get something for Skubal.

Yeah, they split with the Royals. It’s not the end of the world. But as constituted, presently, I don’t think these guys can go far enough not to do some serious selling and to look towards the future instead of stumbling through the present.

It’s a rash statement, mostly powered by emotion, but I don’t think it’s illogical.

Disappointing end to the series.  Not just today, but yesterday’s lack of driving runners in.

I was of the mindset they needed a 5-2 home stand.  They can still do it, but there is no margin for error now.

I think you’re right. I don’t know if they have no business being in the majors, but them being on this team doesn’t do us any good.

They're done.   They only have these little series wins against the Cubs just to tease us that maybe, just maybe and then they show what they really are -  a bunch of stiffs with Mr. Tinkers the Manager.   It's over.   No playoffs in 2026,  No baseball in 2027,  Who knows in 2028.

We will look back and wish Max Clark had hit his stride early enough in the season for them to have bit the bullet on his rookie status and just brought him up, boosting the base running, defense and hitting all in one fell swoop.

That could be true, but I don’t think him learning by doing in the majors could make up for four guys at the bottom of the lineup who can’t do the job. I’m looking forward to the future, if we have one.

I've seen enough of Valdez for this season. Too bad Hinch hasn't. It's so unfair to the entire team, being told they have to win or we'll be sellers at the deadline. And then running our #6 SP out there every 5th day. Drew Anderson could probably give up more consistent innings. Bullpen days would probably be better. Whatever...

Somebody's happy we lost ... 😉

Actually, I'm not even talking about you.

I dont wanna see Skubal traded but...how about this? Move him for a big haul....and then sign him in the winter. Win win situation. 😄

Bottom of the order and bullpen stink.

Too much for the players we do have to cover for.
