I forgot this game was an afternoon game. I’ll have to hurry home. Although it’s really pleasant at the Botanical Garden I frequent on a daily basis.

At least I’ll be able to listen to Dan in the car on the radio.

Just what we would need: a RF to block Zyhir through next season, plus pay him $2 million for the rest of this season and $10 million or so next year.

Block a prospect? Because he's not helping the 2026 Tigers? Look who's playing outfield today and say we can't use a plus defender who can actually....hit?

Looks like 112 to me?   Is that better than 91?

Maybe I'm just looking at Adell's 4 RBI in this series against the 3 strikeouts for Malgeri  it would have been nice to get some (any) production from our rightfielder.

Just got home to discover that no matter what I do the radio and the TV are completely out of sync. Heck, pshaw, H-E-double hockey stick! First world problems is my daughters would put it…

Adel is far from a plus defender.  He has been brutal overall in the OF this year - he's the one that missed the catch and turned into a homer.  All he's been good at this year is hitting LH pitching.

And from what i've seen of Malgeri, his defense looks pretty good. We just need a bit of corner OF offensive production..

I know there are a lot of fascinating people doing good things in the crowd and I guess they deserve some FaceTime on a broadcast, but I can’t say that I really enjoy the interruptions. It’s a part of the necessary PR function of a TV broadcast and that’s the way it is.

I also know that there’s a segment of the viewing audience that finds baseball boring and we have to make it interesting for them as well. I really hate players miked up in the field and I’m glad that Detroit Sportsnet doesn’t do that. Sigh… I guess I’m a dinosaur lamenting the asteroid…
