    These announcers are saying dumb stuff like someone is a “typical number three hitter“ or talking about the importance of the “cleanup hitter“ have these guys not heard that you bat your best guys first and second so they get more at bats?

    He’s becoming something really special right before our eyes. I don’t know if it’s right or even necessary to compare him to other great Tigers catchers yet. It’s premature but right now he’s Dillon Dingler and that is still something special.

    Casey still gets through the 4th on a standard 15 pitches, one of which hit Contreras. Only 44 so far.
