I'm on board with getting the playoff monkey off their back... if they can even manage that... I sincerely hope that make the playoffs or not... that the writing is on the wall to clear out the old deadwood. No, they’re 2 out (effectively 3 due to losing the tiebreaker) with 5 to go. If they go 4-1 and Ottawa goes 2-2-1 the Wings are in unless a couple of Metro teams get hot. But no reason to think the Wings will go 4-1. More likely to go 2-3 or 1-4. If the Wings lose in regulation tomorrow and Thursday and Ottawa wins tomorrow and Thursday, the Wings will be officially eliminated.

I would be a terrible coach. These guys striking out with a runner at 3rd with less than 2 outs? Unacceptable. No excuse. Go sit on the end if the bench and think about your terrible approach. We have other players who may be much smarter. Riley swung at a pitch eye high...
