I don’t think Colt Keith is going to be that much further behind Malloy—he’s raking, too, at Erie. If he’s the superior defensive 3B, which I don’t know, Malloy might end up in the OF, anyway.

I think most women right now are trying to control their rage. I appreciate the caution, but I also subscribe to the Jim Leyland school of wanting the best 25 (now 26) players on the big league squad. If Malloy proves to be one of them, and can take away the empty AB’s from Nevin, McKinstry and Schoop, I’m down with it. I wouldn’t let service time factor into the equation.
