Want to give a shout out to Tork. He donated 7.5 million to build a shelter for homeless. I did some digging and it's legit. Also saw he does charity to help diabetes research. I've worked with homeless families and individuals for most of my 36 year career, so this hits home for me. You're a good man Tork!

It was so nice to have no drama just now. I’ve had enough tight game drama and winning this series on the road against another team in the Central that is not a team to be dismissed is a big deal.
Random Skubal tidbit, since his return in July of 2023 he has faced roughly 250 lefties, he's given up a total of 4 extra base hits against them and none this year. Mind boggling!
There's also an interesting book called Operation Paperclip, I believe by Annie Jacobsen (sp?). I recommend that for anybody interested in the Cold War era.
i go to a few WM games every year and i thought that Parker Meadows was a guarenteed bust. To see him progress to where he is now gives me hope that the new organization is just better at developing hitters than the previous one.
Beyond all the reasons other have already expressed, Tork has been behaving like an uncoachable, do-it-his-own-way, selfish disappointment. His act of not listening to the team and then not performing on the field is tired.
