  1. Totally agree. As much as I still scream at the TV for every tiny annoyance, this season has been a joy. Hell, I could just put on a game and watch Ausar play defense for 2 hours and I'm happy. It's insane considering they won 14 games 2 seasons ago and were one of the worst teams in league history - and they didn't do it by adding an All-Star. They did it by changing the coach, culture, internal development, and adding players around the margins. Truly remarkable stuff.

  2. that's the initial question the court will address. if they stop the analysis there and rule that the government cannot amend the law in thia fashion, they are likely to get an 8-1 or 9-0 decision.

  3. Maybe. The government is seeking only prospective relief, meaning that the EO is looking to end birthright citizenship for a particular class of persons moving forward. as you state. However, when the SG was asked at oral argument whether the administration would seek to apply its order retroactively, the SG refused to say that it would not. In other words, the government did not commit that it would not look to rescind the citizenship of US citizens who were naturalized under old laws. As Justice Sotomayor noted, the US has done this before when it rescinded citizenship for american indians. Given the cruel nature of this administration in regards to non-white immigrants, and the bipolar nature of donald trump, i dont think you can say with any certainty he would not look to deport as many brown people as his government agents could get their hands on. And if you disagree, why dont you ask stephen miller what he thinks.

  4. Regardless what happens to Jenkins the rest of his career, I'll always remember this season for his contribution. Seeing a guy like him get an opportunity, seize it, prove that he not only belongs but is a vital part of a team that's going to win their conference and was displaying leadership qualities almost from day one - he's been a breath of fresh air. Athletes like Jenkins makes watching sports 100% worth it.

  5. One can make a post about Lavert like this seemingly every night. I have no clue why he's part of the regular rotation.

  6. We do take a lot of meaningless challenges that you know as soon as he challenges it, you know it's going to fail.

  7. Hey! The Leafs have been so irrelevant this year I didn't even notice this happening. But honestly, since it has been coming for weeks instead of a brutally quick yanking out of the Leafs' fans hearts, and with the Wings floundering, it's not the big cause for celebration like in past years.

  10. I can't compare to that. Pretty. This one is just about broke in. You can tell at the bottom the leather laces are different. Local grocery, display of shoe laces. Scissors, a small screwdriver, and we fixed them ourselves. My web busted one night and about got my nose broke.

  12. I am going to share my current glove again... I assure you that after several months of very muddy Virginia softball it no longer is this bright color. I explained the livery of the color scheme somewhere but its basically the US Air Force TACP crest colors. Blue for Air, Green for Ground, Red for the Firepower we deliver. The new one plays a lot better than my $35 super soft glove that I have to replace the laces on each season. Its great for coaching and having to retrieve balls without having to reach that extra 13" when i'm trying to refill the Jugs machine.

  13. Refs have already been ****ing the Pistons. Three straight drives Duren scores THROUGH Gobert's arms not one ****ing call. Gobert was all over him... A ticky-tack touch on Randle = foul called on the Pistons. The Refs are trying to **** us this game.

  15. We haven't had an American MVP winner since Harden in 2018. I don't see an American winning it in the immediate future either. If one does, it will probably be the result of the 65 game rule. Who are the American candidates? Cade, Ant, Brown, Tatum, Jalen Johnson? Great players but a step behind the four foreign players, probably. Maybe the way Europeans develop youth talent is better than our system. Ironically, Americans would have a fit if a 14 or 15-year-old turned pro like Luka did. But they are perfectly fine with a kid the same age being taken advantage of by AAU coaches and shoe companies.
